After many of years of trying and countless broken hearts my husband and I were ready to give up on our dreams of ever owning home until we were referred to Sheldon and are now days away from closing on our first home!! Not only did Sheldon go above and beyond to ensure we were able too obtain the best loan possible but he also took the time to educate us on the entire process. Both Sheldon and his Loan Processor, Lisa are are an amazing team. They went out of their way to keep us informed of where we were in the process and were always available to answer questions or offer an encouraging word. I truly believe that without Sheldon and Lisa we would never have been able to obtain home ownership. Not only are we days away from closing on our first home but because of Sheldon and Lisa's hard work we had a two week escrow! I would truly recommend Sheldon to all those thinking of purchasing a home regardless of if it is your first home or tenth home. Thank you Sheldon and Lisa. I can not believe we are officially homeowners!!

I had a complicated mortgage situation and Sheldon and his team came through like champions. Sheldon has kept me up to date and informed all the way through this loan process. I came to a point in the process that I just could not get what was needed and Lisa took right over and made it happen for me. I would recommend them 100%. Sheldon is very knowledgeable and knows his stuff. He has a great team and I'm so lucky that I was referred to them. Sheldon and his team are a fantastic.

When my fiancé and I were ready to buy a home, we had no idea where to start in terms of looking for a lender or a realtor. We started asking our friends who they trusted and could rely on to get the job done, and more than a few of my friends and coworkers had recommended Sheldon Cooney from Stanford Mortgage. The thing that impressed me the most with Sheldon at the start of our buying process was how much he cared about providing us with knowledge on how we could become educated buyers. This was our first home that we were looking for, and it was a relief knowing we had someone who genuinely cared about our well-being rather than just making a sale. Sheldon walked us through getting pre-approved, had us take a home buyers course, and was ready to help serve us whenever we needed an assessment on how much we could afford on a certain home. Fast forward to today, and we're about to move-in to our very first house. It's a surreal feeling, and it's truly been a wonderful experience knowing we had a great team in our corner. We will only be using Sheldon moving forward when it comes to purchasing homes or refinancing, he's provided top quality service and I wouldn't send anyone anywhere else. I sent my friends to Sheldon back in October 2019 and they had the same experience with him when they bought their house. Also, Sheldon was able to help us close on our house in 25 days, we thought it was going to be much longer than that but he was on a mission to get us in our house. I can't thank you enough Sheldon, it's been such a privilege to work with you. Darci and I are over the moon about our new house!

We had a friend recommend Sheldon when we were considering buying our first home. We know nothing about the home buying process other than being told how stressful the entire process can be by friends and family. Sheldon explained everything in detail and went over numbers with me so we could understand what we were looking at. When the interest rates changed, he again reached out to go over how it would affect our payments and what our options are. We found a home not long after beginning the process with Sheldon and had our offer accepted 10 days ago. We will be signing at the title company tomorrow; I cannot believe this has happened so fast! The entire process has been incredibly easy, it has surprised my friends and family as this was not their own experience buying a home. Lisa, the loan processor has communicated everything along the way, keeping us updated as things progressed and responding quickly to our questions. I really did not think the home buying process would go this smoothly or stress free for us. We will be recommending Sheldon & Lisa to our family and friends and wouldn’t go to anyone else in the future.

Sheldon helped me and my mom with a loan with a rental property. Together we have some fairly complicated financials and LOTs of paperwork! But Sheldon and his team were awesome. They were super communicative and helped walk us through expectations and the necessary steps to get the loan done super quickly (the seller had ask for a short escrow in our negotiations). I knew right from the front what to expect with closing costs and Sheldon sent frequent video updates explaining the cost analysis and potential benefits and cons of purchasing point, locking in the interest rate etc. 5/5 for being efficiency, communication and knowledge!
